Lockheed Martin has a long, distinguished record of providing business process services that encompass energy efficiency, demand response, clean energy, information technology, and outsourcing. Our customer base spans the federal government as well as state and regional energy organizations, utilities, businesses, and consumers. Our team delivering these services offers highly specialized subject matter expertise and technical credentials and includes engineers, scientists, business strategists, researchers, information specialists, marketing experts, and program managers. From load research, demand-side management, and public benefit and consumer incentive programs to energy productivity and demand response initiatives, Lockheed Martin develops and implements solutions that save time, money, and energy while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Energy Management Consulting

Lockheed Martin's energy consultants support decision makers throughout government and industry. Our specialists can assess an enterprise's energy usage and cost, implement a monitoring program, and design a cost management strategy that takes cost out of the enterprise and boosts profit. Policymakers and regulators count on our objective expertise to provide advisory services, studies, and expert opinion on energy markets, energy efficiency potential, renewables, load management, transmission, and a range of other key topics.

Energy Audits, Pre-Engineering, Project Management, Project Implementation, Commissioning

Lockheed Martin's energy specialists perform hundreds of energy audits each year to identify energy- and load-reduction strategies for customers—from residences and small commercial businesses to massive industrial plants. We identify, qualify, and pre-engineer projects. We can provide construction management or perform as a general contractor. At the back end, our staff are trained in commissioning, monitoring, and verification services to ensure that projects are installed properly and perform as designed for maximum return on investment.

Market Transformation Programs

On behalf of our customers, Lockheed Martin works closely with retailers, manufacturers, and other involved parties to increase market share and awareness of energy efficient Energy Star® products. Our field staff train retail partners in energy efficiency, provide marketing and advertising assistance, assist consumers in obtaining incentives by buying energy-efficient products, and provide market research services.

Energy Outreach Services

Lockheed Martin offers a range of additional consulting services that combine our energy expertise, advanced information technology skills, and program management capabilities to help customers conserve energy, protect the environment, and increase operational efficiencies. We build creative public-private partnerships at the community level to accelerate energy efficiency improvements in local buildings. We develop and design Web sites that bring energy efficiency and renewable energy best practices to the nation's industrial sector through case studies, software, training materials, publications, and other resources.
