Energy Management Consulting
Lockheed Martin's energy consultants support decision makers
throughout government and industry. Our specialists can assess
an enterprise's energy usage and cost, implement a monitoring
program, and design a cost management strategy that takes
cost out of the enterprise and boosts profit. Policymakers and
regulators count on our objective expertise to provide advisory
services, studies, and expert opinion on energy markets, energy
efficiency potential, renewables, load management, transmission,
and a range of other key topics.
Energy Audits, Pre-Engineering, Project Management, Project Implementation, Commissioning
Lockheed Martin's energy specialists perform hundreds of
energy audits each year to identify energy- and load-reduction
strategies for customersfrom residences and small commercial
businesses to massive industrial plants. We identify, qualify, and
pre-engineer projects. We can provide construction management
or perform as a general contractor. At the back end, our staff are
trained in commissioning, monitoring, and verification services
to ensure that projects are installed properly and perform as
designed for maximum return on investment.
Market Transformation Programs
On behalf of our customers, Lockheed Martin works closely
with retailers, manufacturers, and other involved parties to
increase market share and awareness of energy efficient Energy
Star® products. Our field staff train retail partners in energy
efficiency, provide marketing and advertising assistance, assist
consumers in obtaining incentives by buying energy-efficient
products, and provide market research services.
Energy Outreach Services
Lockheed Martin offers a range of additional consulting services
that combine our energy expertise, advanced information
technology skills, and program management capabilities to
help customers conserve energy, protect the environment, and
increase operational efficiencies. We build creative public-private
partnerships at the community level to accelerate energy efficiency
improvements in local buildings. We develop and design Web
sites that bring energy efficiency and renewable energy best
practices to the nation's industrial sector through case studies,
software, training materials, publications, and other resources.
